Strong operations manager for a Silicon Valley VC firm

We are looking for an exceptional individual to join us as Operations Manager and have a direct impact our organization. They will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the firm, managing the books, organizing events, coordinating vendor activities, and taking on other ad-hoc tasks.

Responsibilities:
– Execute lead generation programs
– Under supervision, coordinate with vendors to prepare quarterly financial statements, annual audits and tax returns
– Manage the process for all capital calls and distributions to the investors
– Produce corporate events and executive trips
– Attend team meetings as needed
– Other operations-related projects as required

Skills required:
– Very detail-oriented -able to keep many balls in the air
– Strong work ethic -highly organized and reliable
– Great team player -including working with vendors, investors and colleagues
– High energy and positive attitude
– Working knowledge of Google Apps, LinkedIn, Carta and other tools – Ability to maintain high degree of professionalism and confidentiality
– Experience in venture capital highly desirable
